What I liked most interesting about this story was the ties to Jack the Ripper. I know this series is really about a group of ghost hunters, but I picked up the book because of the Ripper link and I liked that aspect about it. So, I'm curious to see how the rest of the series will go.
I do like how people start to see ghosts. It's not just a "Ghost Whisperer, everyone can see ghost as kids but grow out of it" kind of thing. There's actual circumstances that happen in order for the ability to present itself and even then, you have to already possess the gene. I'm not sure I liked the relationship of Rory and Jerome. I didn't get that swoon feeling I do when I'm reading teen romances and I love that swoon feeling. I am curious to see what happens now that our protagonist is being taken away from London. Will she fight ghosts wherever she is or will she find some reason to be in London with the others? Click here to purchase.
