Yesterday started the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) Challenge. The idea is to start and finish a novel in just 30 days, from November 1st to November 30th. It's a bit scary to think about writing a whole novel in 30 days, but I'm going to do it. Well, my version of it anyway.
I have a novel that I've been working on all year. I'm about 5 chapters and I'm using this 30 day challenge to finish it. I figured it might help push me towards that next step in the writing process: rewriting. If I can accomplish this challenge, then maybe I can have something ready to look at by the next NESCBWI Conference. I would love to have someone there look at it.
So here goes. My 30 day writing challenge. Wish me luck.
