I am being watched. I am being watched by the man. He is watching my words, reviewing them, storing them, filing them away. For what purpose, I do not know. I only know he is watching me.
Well, maybe. I have volunteered my blog to a work project on social media. A blog is in fact social media is it not? It is a media outlet designed to reach society as a whole complete with my thoughts and rants. Do I rant? Now there's a thought. This project is actually a good test for me. In order to test this project correctly, I must blog everyday consistently for a few weeks until the beginning of June. Something I have not done in a very long time, not since life and adulthood got in the way. Don't you just love it when that happens? I have been considering for a time now to open up a Twitter account for this lovely website I created. I do already have a Facebook page, so Twitter is not that far off. The thing about Twitter, though, is using it consistently. As it stands, I post statuses on my Facebook page once maybe twice a week. To sustain a following on Twitter, I would need to post everyday if not multiple times a day. People get bored easily and if they see the inconsistency in your socializing (it is social media, is it not?) they will go elsewhere. This is why I have yet to actually start Twitter. So far I do not see myself being consistent. This project will be my test. How often do you think the man will ping me for not blogging? Only time will tell. Until then, this is post one.
